Reflexology is so much more than a pampering foot rub.

Reflexology is a beautiful form of therapeutic massage that supports every system in your body – all through pressure points in your feet. It’s so much more than just a pampering foot rub!

If you’ve ever been exhausted after a long day and found yourself longing to put your feet up and rest, you already understand the wisdom your body holds. Reflexology takes this natural instinct and enhances it with gentle, targeted pressure to specific reflex points.

welcome to your reflexology journey

When you come for reflexology sessions, you can simply relax. Take a break in your day to experience how therapeutic touch can help you feel better, calmer, and more grounded.

What to expect in your reflexology session

During your reflexology treatment, you’ll rest comfortably in a soothing environment. You’ll remain fully clothed throughout the session – you only need to remove your shoes and socks.

Using gentle massage techniques, I’ll work on specific reflex points for your whole body. I’ll spend more time on the areas that relate to things you’re seeking help with. Most clients find the experience deeply calming and supportive – a sanctuary from daily life.

FAQs about Reflexology

Some common questions about Reflexology with Energy Flows that people ask me all the time. If you have a question that isn’t answered here, please get in touch. We can chat and I always love answering questions.

A reflexology session costs €75 for a single treatment. Each treatment lasts 90 minutes and includes a full consultation to discuss your health history and wellness goals. I create a calm, supportive environment where you can relax and experience the therapeutic benefits of reflexology.

You can also opt for a Wellness Package of 4 treatments for €240, where each session is only €60. I offer this Package as an encouragement for you to mind your health. You have likely been experiencing your health challenges for a while, and it often takes time to resolve them. Also, the benefits of reflexology are cumulative where a single treatment is good, but full results happen after a series of treatments.

Reflexology supports you mind, body and spirit. Clients often find it helpful for stress management, improved sleep, autoimmune conditions, chronic pain, fatigue, and general relaxation.

It works by applying pressure to specific points on the feet (or hands) that relate to different systems in the body.

Reflexology promotes natural healing and improves how our bodies function. Each person’s experience is unique, and I tailor each session to your personal needs on the given day.

While reflexology is safe for most people, there are some cautions and contraindications where treatment should be avoided or modified. You should not have reflexology if you have:

  • active infections or fever
  • acute injuries, inflammation or open wounds on the feet
  • severe osteoporosis or foot fractures
  • uncontrolled high blood pressure

If you’re pregnant, particularly in the first trimester, please let me know as certain reflexology points require careful consideration.

Similarly, if you have diabetes, epilepsy, heart conditions, or cancer (current or recent), we can discuss whether reflexology is appropriate for you and how to adapt treatment safely.

When in doubt, I recommend consulting with your GP before booking. During our initial consultation, we’ll review your full health history together to ensure reflexology is suitable and safe for you. Your wellbeing is always my priority, and I’m happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have.

Reflexology is generally very safe and suitable for most people. However, some clients may experience mild reactions as the body adjusts, such as temporary tiredness, increased urination, or slight emotional sensitivity – these are normal responses as your body processes the treatment.

Reflexology may not be suitable if you have certain foot injuries, infections, or specific health conditions. If they are specifically related to your feet, we can always use your hands for the treatment. I always conduct a thorough consultation before treatment to make sure it’s right for you.

Many of my clients find reflexology to be a valuable investment in their wellbeing. Beyond the immediate relaxation, regular reflexology can support your body’s natural healing processes and help you feel more calm, clear and grounded. It offers dedicated time for self-care in our busy lives. The true value varies for each person – some come for specific health concerns and everyone can enjoy the deep relaxation and stress relief. I invite you to come for a session and see how reflexology can support your unique journey.

This depends on your individual needs and wellness goals. Some clients come for a one-off relaxation treatment. Meanwhile others benefit from a series of sessions, particularly when addressing specific concerns.

I often recommend clients commit to a series of 4 sessions to relieve the tension, establish new patterns, and strengthen these new patterns.

After our first session, we’ll discuss recommendations based on how you respond to the treatment and what you’d like to achieve.
