Reiki with Jackie:

Woman with peaceful spirit after holistic treatment

Reiki is so much more than relaxation therapy.

Reiki is a beautiful form of energy healing that works through gentle, non-invasive touch to support your physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.

If you’ve ever felt the comfort of a caring hand on your shoulder during difficult times, or noticed how a gentle touch can ease tension, you already understand the power of healing energy. Reiki builds on this natural instinct by directing universal life force energy to support your body’s innate ability to heal itself.

Welcome to your Reiki journey

Are you ready to step away from the demands of your day and step into Energy Flow’s Calm Healing Space? You can take a break in your day to become calmer, more relaxed, and balanced.

This will be your time to receive: no agenda, no expectations, just permission to rest and allow reiki healing energy to flow where it’s needed most. This will be your time to simply BE, rather than constantly DO.

What to expect in your Reiki session

Once you’ve entered the Calm Healing Space, you’ll be welcomed with warmth and compassion, and you’ll have time to settle in during the welcoming chat. We’ll explore how Reiki can support you, identify any concerns you’d like to address, and you can set your intention for this special time. During your Reiki therapy, you’ll rest comfortably in a soothing environment. You’ll remain fully clothed throughout the session – you can simply lie back and relax.

Using gentle hand positions – with hands near the body or gently resting on the body over clothes, I channel the Reiki energy healing throughout your whole body. I’ll spend more time on the areas that relate to things you’re seeking help with. Most clients find the experience deeply calming and supportive – a sanctuary from daily life.

The weight of responsibility melts away –

tension releases from places you didn’t even know you were holding it, and you reconnect with a sense of peace that may have felt lost in the busy-ness of every day living.

FAQs about Reiki

Some common questions about Reiki with Energy Flows that people often ask me. If you have a question that isn’t answered here, please feel free to contact me. We can chat and I’m happy to answer questions.

A Reiki treatment costs €75 for a single treatment. Each treatment lasts 90 minutes and includes a full consultation to discuss your health history and wellness goals. I create a calm, supportive environment where you can relax and experience the therapeutic benefits of Reiki.

You can also opt for a Wellness Package of 4 treatments for €240, where each session is only €60. I offer this Package as an encouragement for you to mind your health. You have likely been experiencing your health challenges for a while, and it often takes time to resolve them. Also, the benefits of Reiki are cumulative where a single treatment is good, but full results happen after a series of treatments.

Reiki supports your mind, body and spirit. Clients often find it helpful for stress management, improved sleep, anxiety, chronic pain, fatigue, emotional balance, and general relaxation.

Reiki promotes natural healing and improves how our energy flows. Each person’s experience is unique, and I tailor each session to your personal needs on the given day.

While Reiki is safe for most people, there are some cautions and contraindications where extra care or consultation is recommended. You should not have Reiki if you have:

  • have a pacemaker or other electrical medical devices.
  • are in the first trimester of pregnancy, it’s best to wait until after the 12-week mark, though Reiki can be wonderfully supportive throughout the rest of pregnancy.
  • are currently experiencing a mental health crisis or severe psychological distress. If so, please ensure you’re working with a mental health professional. Reiki can complement this care but shouldn’t replace it.
  • have recently had surgery. If so, we may need to avoid placing hands directly on the surgical site, though Reiki can still support your healing.

Reiki is a complementary therapy that works alongside conventional medical care – it doesn’t replace medical treatment. If you have any health concerns or conditions, please continue with your prescribed treatments or medications.

When in doubt, I’m always happy to discuss your individual circumstances during our initial consultation. Your wellbeing and comfort are my priorities.

As a Reiki practitioner, I may use gentle, non-invasive touch on specific areas such as the head, shoulders, or hands, or I may work within your energy field with my hands positioned about 5 inches above the body – both approaches are equally effective. Your comfort and consent are my top priority – this is your time!

Before we begin, we’ll chat about your preferences and any sensitivities you may have. I always ask – “are you comfortable with me resting my hands on you or would you prefer I keep my hands a short distance from your body?” You can answer with a simple choice – you don’t need to explain.

Throughout the session, you’re welcome to request no physical contact at any time, and your boundaries will be fully respected throughout the session. Some clients prefer the reassuring presence of a gentle touch, other clients are more comfortable with no direct contact.

This is such a personal question, and the answer really depends on what you’re hoping to gain and how your body responds to energy healing.

Many of my clients tell me that Reiki has been transformative for them – they sleep better, feel calmer, experience less pain, and feel more peaceful day-to-day. Their investment in well-being allows them to show up for their families, their work, and even have scope to have a bit of fun.

Others appreciate Reiki as a deeply restful pause in their busy lives. It’s a sacred space where they can simply be, without demands or expectations. In today’s chaotic world, it can be incredibly difficult to find that restful, sacred space.

The best way to know if reiki is worth it for you is to experience it for yourself. I always suggest starting with one or two sessions to see how your body responds. You’ll know fairly quickly whether it resonates with you.

Remember, investing in your wellbeing isn’t a luxury – it’s essential. When you feel better, everything in your life goes better.

This varies from person to person, depending on what you’re dealing with and how your body responds to treatment. Reiki is cumulative and it’s different depending on whether you have acute issues or chronic conditions.

Reiki tends to work cumulatively. While some people feel immediate shifts after their first session, others notice subtle changes that build over time. You might find that issues you weren’t even focusing on begin to improve, or that you’re handling stress differently without really thinking about it.

For acute issues or immediate stress relief, you might find significant benefit from just one or two sessions. Many clients come for a single session when they need deep relaxation or support during a particularly stressful time.

For chronic conditions, long-standing pain, or deeper healing work, I typically recommend a series of sessions. Often clients start with weekly treatments for 3-4 weeks, then space them out to fortnightly or monthly as they begin to feel better. This gives your body time to integrate the healing and build on the progress from each session.

Some people choose to continue with regular monthly sessions as part of their ongoing self-care routine, even after their initial concerns have improved. They find it helps them stay balanced and reduces stress build ups.

During your first session, we’ll discuss what you’re hoping to achieve, and I can suggest a treatment plan that makes sense for your situation. But there’s no pressure, you’re always in control of how many sessions you’d like to book.

The most important thing is to listen to your body. You’ll know when you need another session, and when you’re feeling ready to take a break. I’m here to support your journey, whatever pace feels right for you.
